F-Droid repositories

About
AXP.OS maintains two F-Droid repositories.
Main purpose is deploying out-of-band updates, e.g. for the AOSmium based System Webview but also provide other apps build/made by the AXP.OS project.
There are 2 repos available:
- Stable (roughly tested) and
- Cutting Edge (fully untested)
If you enable Cutting Edge be aware that it may contain unstable/broken/incomplete applications (however, you can choose which repository you prefer for each application).
AXP.OS builds starting from May 2025 onwards deliver both repositories as part of the OS update.
Tip
It is not necessary to use AXP.OS to add and use these repositories! You can add them manually to get AXP.OS managed applications.
Adding the AXP.OS repos
Only required if you are not using AXP.OS (AXP.OS builds since May 2025 have them included already).
- Stable:
- open https://apps.axpos.org/repo/ and scan the code from your phone
- Cutting Edge:
- open https://cutting-apps.axpos.org/repo/ and scan the code from your phone
Reset F-Droid on AXP.OS
If you are using AXP.OS and do not see the above repositories you have upgraded from an early release and a reset is required. The same step is required if a new repository has been added/removed (always check the changelog).
The following will reset any F-Droid setting and resets all repositories to the AXP.OS default. Afterwards you should have all AXP.OS repos available.
Reset F-Droid:
- long press the F-Droid icon
- choose
App info - choose
Storage and cache - choose
Clear storage(Clear cache is not enough!) - open F-Droid and in
Settings->Repositoriescheck if the AXP.OS Stable repo is there and enabled - optional: activate the “Cutting Edge” repository
Apps
Both repositories contain the same apps while the Cutting Edge one gets updates first (see above). The apps inside the F-Droid repo are:
- AOSmium Browser (32bit + 64bit)
- AOSmium Webview (32bit + 64bit)
- LoveLaceAV
- PhoneSky
- OpenEUICC
- EasyEUICC
- NeoLauncher
