πͺ© | AXP.OS patch level: 2025-04-05, based on ASB 2025-04-05 |
πͺ© | AXP.OS OTA server: implemented Tor access for updating via Orbot |
πͺ© | added new Tor/Onion address for OTA’s to the Updater (marked as Tor:xxx within its settings, requires Orbot) |
πͺ© | “low-end” devices: using sha256 (instead of sha512) for the hashtree algorithm of all partitions |
πͺ© | bring back charge control feature (A13+)* *sargo does not support charge control, hotdog will get it with next update first |
πͺ© | added an option for disabling call recording restrictions (A11 + A13) |
πͺ© | added an experimental option to intercept installation source (A11) |
πͺ© | π¨ gs201 devices (oriole, bluejay, lynx, cheetah): replace enforced testkey on init_boot. If you own such a device: PLEASE UPGRADE ASAP. |
πͺ© | π¨ re-worked AVB, signing and dm-verity handling to catch stuff like enforced testkeys but also for overriding enforced low hash sizes. Examples: vbmeta was using the public default sha256+2048 testkey on some devices (e.g. gs201). Besides that init_boot, pvmfw, vendor_boot, vendor_kernel_boot hashtrees will now be increased if not set to sha512 (sha256 on “low-end” devices) |

(*) GREAT NEWS: CVE Kernel patcher is live! Read all about the journey here
According to the Android standard, all patches missing from the January builds are of course included.
In general, the February builds mark another milestone for the project:
all dependencies to DivestOS have been either replaced or optimized.
It was really a journey up to here and even though I was pretty sure that it will be tough getting things settled I never expected the amount of work it took at the end..
Of course there are still things not fully finished especially when it comes to documentation (your help would be greatly appreciated!).
Nevertheless I was able to get the CVE Kernel patcher in a (for-me) usable state, dived deep into several stuff Tad did in the past (kudos again!) and finally was able to remove some boundaries as well.
Thanks again for your patience during all this time and sorry for the delay this caused to the regular builds. This should become better now (knocking on wood)!
This update requires manual interaction!
Update System WebView to: v133.0.6943.49
- on 64bit devices: download webview64-signed.apk
- on 32bit devices: download webview32-signed.apk
Install and verify by:
Android settings -> Search for "webview" -> WebView implementation
- should show
AOSmium System WebView 133.0.6943.49

2025 - January
Important
- If you haven’t read the Divest EOL statement, please do so: here
- Due to this and the massive amount of work this brings the January builds will delay and require manual changes by the user
- Even though good progress has been made there is still an open issue regarding the Kernel patching process. Due to several open questions the builds will not receive any kernel related patches for January. The current plan is to have them implemented with the February releases.

App info

Storage & Cache
- choose
Clear Storage
(Cache is not enough) - open F-Droid and in
